Session 11 covered External relationships – we analysed the pro’s and con’s of outsourcing, and discussed partnerships in detail – different types, how to go about it, pitfalls to avoid. We closed by discussing Advisory Boards – what are they and how to go about establishing one.

The "Board of advisors" section was more beneficial for me as it opened a new way of getting the skills that I don't have instead of going for fulltime employees. Thanks David

We are already applying most of what was discussed in this session. I also found the board of advisors an interesting concept, which we plan to use in our business in the future. Thanks David.


This session gave me a wake-up call; as MFI Data has activeley been involved with partnering and outsorcing without focusing on the contractual agreements. It has definiteley worked well for us; but we'd need to get our contracts sorted out to avoid any mishaps or misfortunes... As for my sceptisism of synergising; the lights are now green and I'm going for it! Thank you David & CITI...
