VeloCITI is aimed at ICT entrepreneurs who are prepared to re-assess their business model in order to position themselves for growth. Participants received a clear understanding of the current flaws in their business model and got hands-on assistance in reworking those models, or fixing the flaws. VeloCITI is targeted at young entrepreneurs running a business with potential for growth. Not a lifestyle business but the next Western Cape Success Story. The outcome of VeloCITI: A sustainable business model, measured by achievement against targets such as sales, salaries, headcount etc.

This programme provides a wonderful opportunity for IT companies to get involved at grassroots level in highlighting ICT as an enabler and also enthuse youth about ICT related careers to pursue and follow. Its intention is not only to get the learners to pursue ICT careers but also to bridge the skills gap in ICT, specifically amongst Previously Disadvantaged Individuals (PDI) learners. CITI is proud to announce that this initiative achieved its mandate as well as that of Cornastone of reaching PDI learners.

The VIP graduate club programme started in 2006 and was then called The Next Billionaire. This initiative was set out to recruit and develop young IT graduates into one of two specific streams, viz entrepreneurship and corporate. This is achieved through five capacity building workshops specific to each stream. To give a holistic rounded input in these workshops CITI invites guest speakers in specialized areas such as marketing, networking and other areas to address the participants.
