The Grunderskolen Programme

The Grunderskolen Programme (based at the University of Oslo) was launched from the Wits Business School for the first time in South Africa in 2005.

The aim of the programme is to teach Norwegian students entrepreneurial skills through the Wits Business School and to expose them to practical experience in young South African companies (5 yrs and younger).  This year, we have decided to introduce the program in Cape Town.

Is your company interested in participating in a Norwegian Student Internship Program?
The Internship Program will be run in conjunction with The Wits Business School, who will be in charge of the Academic Program to be run in Cape Town and Innovation Norway (Commercial Section of the Royal Norwegian Embassy) who will manage all the practical arrangements for the students.

The companies are requested to task the students with projects which to name a few, involve compiling business plans,  market research and public relations campaigns, brokering deals and compiling financial management models.

The benefits to companies who get involved in this program are clearly seen from above.  The students gain immense practical experience and the companies have access to resources, which if properly utilized can be beneficial to their business.

The partners involved, namely Grunderskolen, The Wits Business School and Innovation Norway have seen this 2 month internship to continue as an annual event.

We look forward to hearing whether you would be interested in pursuing this opportunity and if so, we would like to make an appointment to discuss this with you. Please contact Beverley Lewis on belew@innovasjonnorge.no or on 011-784 8152/0 to discuss this further. Web: www.innovasjonnorge.no
