About us

Open Box Software is a software development consultancy focused on, but not limited to, the real estate industry.

We have been delivering custom solutions to the commercial and residential real estate industries since inception, almost 10 years ago. To date we have created over 60 unique business applications, ranging from leasing to billing, acquisitions to reporting. Our ability to understand business problems, and our passion for creating solutions to them, has resulted in numerous clients coming to us from industries outside our real estate focus. As a result we have created systems for the Insurance, Entertainment and Catering Services (financial and advisory) industries.

Our Application Development teams use Microsoft .Net application development technologies to create custom-made applications or enhance functionality in custom or packaged applications.

In addition to supporting custom applications developed by the company, we operate dedicated helpdesks which support 3rd party software systems. Amongst others, this includes: MRI Software, Meridian Prolog, and Angus Work Order systems for global clients in the commercial and residential real estate industries.

Focusing on design, implementation and management of reporting systems to enable business intelligence, Business Intelligence teams create necessary data warehouses, link customized or packaged applications to one another, and develop systems to cleanse and report on large volumes of data.

We have extensive experience using Microsoft SQL Server technologies to deliver end-to-end BI solutions to our clients.
