Drawing on first phase of the project (i.e. the innovation gap analysis workshop, the survey & 1st draft report) and assessing the ICT innovation challenges and needs of the ICT and participating industries within the current global competitive nature of the industry
Focus will be on:
Assessing ways of narrowing the innovation gap within the ICT industry and participating industries, within the industry and global competitors, and developing and adopt a strategy that:
1. stimulates technology transfer and skills development
2. strengthens innovation infrastructure: SMME technology service providers, R&D
3. Will improve human capital
4. Promoting ICT in participating industries
5. Stimulating international R&D and business cooperation
6. Connecting the adoption of new technologies to economic growth
