Connection Telecom is a next generation Telecommunications Service Provider. Our mission is to help our customers take advantage of the most dramatic technological advances seen in telecommunications since we heard "Nommer Asseblief?" for the last time.
About Us
The Internet has transformed data communications in South Africa and around the world. Connection Telecom staff were among those who brought that transformation to South Africa. We're now working to bring an even more dramatic transformation to voice and other real-time communications. Connection Telecom's products and services will enable you to take full advantage of this whirlwind of opportunity. Connection Telecom's is committed to the Asterisk open source PBX and VoIP software platform and is an active contributor to the development program.
We've put and will put many hours of development time into this project, which, for the first time, brings telephony out of the proprietary world of expensive PBXes and into the open and accessible world of PCs and open-source software. Using Asterisk as a base, we've been able to build voice communications solutions at costs of 1/10th of proprietary products. We're pleased to be selling Digium's products in Southern Africa and Connection Telecom are Premier Distributors of Digium. These products, from the home of Asterisk, allow you to connect your Asterisk system to analogue and ISDN lines, and to traditional telephones. We supplement Digium's products with others chosen for their quality and good compatibility with Asterisk.
