The Freedom Toaster, originally built for most popular Linux distributions, has evolved to the point where the technology behind it is used to burn almost anything digital – from electronic textbooks, music to software and beyond.

One of the world’s largest distance learning institutions, the University of South Africa (UNISA) uses UNISA Toasters to provide students with digital course ware at its countrywide registration offices.
