Services

Software Development Services are offered to clients who seek custom solutions that suits the client’s unique domain and technology environment.  Our professional services teams are trained to use either traditional or agile methods of developing software to seamlessly fit in with a client's preferred environment. Our core competencies cover the full spectrum of the SDLC, including project management, business and systems analysis, systems architecture, testing, programming (Java and .Net), and quality assurance.

Software Consulting Services are offered to clients requiring specific development competencies to augment their existing project teams. This service is provided in the form of Alacrity backed and supported competency specialists contracted full-time to the client for a specified period, or part-time contracted in for specific deliverables. Our consulting offering includes systems development (full SDLC), IT strategy formulation, enterprise architecture design, and software evaluation. We also offer a range of targeted IT audits, which provide pointers to high leverage areas for improvement and benchmarks against which improvement interventions can be tracked.

Software Support Services are offered to clients who seek support for legacy systems.  Typically this service is used where we have developed the original system being supported, or where a system requires ongoing support if the in-house skills base is being eroded.  Our support service is implemented via a help desk, and an on-line error logging system with tracking and reporting capabilities.  Service Levels Agreements govern the support requirements required (support times, standby requirements etc).

Ventures

Alacrity has a specialized division focused on developing and incubating software products. We partner with domain specialists and provide the technology, infrastructure and administrative support and skills to build and sustain a successful product and business.
